Fargo Shanley 7-6, Fargo North 4-3
FARGO — Fargo Shanley took two from Fargo North in an Eastern Dakota Conference matchup on Tuesday.
The Deacons outhit the Spartans 8-3 in Game 1. The Spartans committed four errors and the Deacons had two.
Shanley’s Adam Leininger was 2 for 2 with four RBI and a walk. Zach Boren was 2 for 4. Jordan Leininger pitched six innings, gave up two earned runs on two hits and struck out six.
Charlie Kalbrener and Owen Behm both went 1 for 2. Benson Grande was 1 for 3. The Spartans pitchers allowed five earned runs on eight hits with 10 strikeouts.

In Game 2, the Deacons scratched three runs across in the sixth inning to defeat the Spartans. Both teams had five hits.
Sam Osvak finished 1 for 3 with three RBI for Shanley. Landon Hale was 2 for 3. Quin Miller pitched six innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts.
North’s Benson Grande ended 2 for 3 with two RBI. Connor Holm and Zach LaMont both went 1 for 2. North gave up three earned runs on five hits and struck out seven.
West Fargo 8, Wahpeton 1
WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Packers cruised past the Wahpeton Huskies on Tuesday night.
The Packers scored six runs across in the third inning. West Fargo had 11 hits and Wahpeton had four.
Wrigley Gunderson was 3 for 3 for the Packers. Eastin Heisler was 2 for 2 with a walk. Brady Medina tossed seven innings, allowed one earned run on four hits with seven strikeouts, and he was 2 for 3 at the plate.
The Huskies’ Jackson Fliflet was 2 for 2 with a walk. Caden Kappes and Gavin Schroeder both went 1 for 3. Wahpeton’s pitching staff gave up one earned run on 11 hits and struck out three batters.

Fargo Davies 7, Devils Lake 4
FARGO — The Fargo Davies Eagles bested the Devils Lake Firebirds on Tuesday night.
The Eagles took a six run lead after six innings and limited the Firebirds to three runs in the seventh. Davies had nine hits and three errors. Devils Lake had six hits and four errors.
The Eagles’ Jaxon Beiswenger was 2 for 4 with two RBI. Grant Matter was 2 for 4 with an RBI and Brady Haiskanen finished 1 for 1 with two walks. Carsen Barta pitched 6-1/3 innings, allowed one earned run on six hits and struck out four.
The Firebirds’ Beau Brodina finished 4 for 4 with a double. Fausten Olson was 1 for 3 and Trason Beck was 1 for 4. The Devils Lake pitching staff allowed four earned runs on nine hits with four strikeouts.
WF Sheyenne 6-14, WF Horace 3-8
HORACE — The West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs swept the West Fargo Horace Hawks in Tuesday night’s doubleheader.
The Mustangs never let go of the lead in the first game and capped off the win with a two run seventh inning. Sheyenne had 10 hits and Horace had nine.

The Mustangs’ Trey Stocker was 3 for 4 and Caleb Duerr and Konner Entz both went 2 for 4 with RBIs. Duerr pitched six innings, gave up two runs on six hits and struck out six.
Horace’s Evan Kroger was 3 for 4 and Cason Borchardt was 2 for 3. Caden Rademacher pitched a complete game, allowing five earned runs on 10 hits and striking out nine.
In Game 2, Sheyenne cruised past Horace, scoring eight runs in the first inning. There were seven errors between the two teams.
The Mustangs’ Casey Clemenson was 3 for 3 with three RBI and a walk. Carson Wilke was 2 for 4 with three RBI. The Sheyenne pitching staff gave up three earned runs on eight hits and struck out six.
Horace’s Axel Anderson finished 3 for 4 with two RBI and Deng Duot was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a walk.
Grand Forks Red River 1, Fargo South 0
FARGO — The Grand Forks Red River Roughriders edged the Fargo South Bruins on Tuesday night.
Moorhead 11, Elk River 1

ELK RIVER — Moorhead backed a strong performance from pitcher Gavin Quade with early runs in a victory over Elk River on Tuesday.
Quade went all five innings, allowing a run on three hits. He walked three and struck out nine.
The Spuds scored eight runs in the first two innings. Eli Mack was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBI and Aaron Reierson doubled and drove in two runs. Carter Heinsch had three hits and Tyden Bergeson and Austin Schwantz both had two hits and RBI. Cullen Wilson doubled and drove in a run and Logan Hilber had an RBI.
DGF 10-6, Barnesville 0-7
GLYNDON — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton and Barnesville split a doubleheader on Tuesday.
In the first game, DGF’s Landon Johnson was superb, allowing three hits in five scoreless innings. He didn’t issue a walk and struck out seven. He also doubled and drove in two runs.
The Rebels’ Alex Anderson was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Nick Waale doubled and had three RBI.
In the second game, Barnesville scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth on a pair of one-out singles, a walk and a hit batsman.

Barnesville’s Cason Hagen then got the Rebels in order in the seventh to save the win for starter Brodee Gray. Hagen also was 2 for 4 with a double and four RBI.
DGF’s Grant Anderson was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double and three RBI. Owen Hoover was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI.
