Warroad 4, Moorhead 2
MOORHEAD — Carson Pilgrim scored two goals and undefeated Warroad topped the Spuds on Saturday.
Warroad’s Ryan Lund and Jayson Shaugabay scored first-period goals but Moorhead’s Ian Ness scored unassisted at 7:31 of the second to make it a one-goal game.
But Warroad all but iced the game when Pilgrim scored at 12:39 of the second on a power play, then notched his second of the game at 7:17 of the third. Aaron Reierson scored at 15:34 of the third on an assist from Mason Kraft.
Shaugabay and Murray Marvin-Cordes both had two assists. Warroad goalie Hampton Slukynsky stopped 32 of 34 shots and the Spuds’ Kai Weigel had 20 saves.

Moorhead fell to 9-9 overall while Warroad improved to 18-0.
GF Red River 12, West Fargo 4
GRAND FORKS — Goals, goals and more goals. The Grand Forks Red River Roughriders exploded offensively against the West Fargo Packers on Saturday night.
Five minutes into the game, both teams were tied with one goal each. Red River’s Carson Skarperud and West Fargo’s Chase Mattern netted goals for their team. Then a parade of Red River goals began. Grant Gardner scored two, Rylee Vetsch tacked on another and Dillon Jackson scored. The scoring continued in the period with a goal from Luc Bydal and Mikey Coleman.
The Roughriders’ Garrett Eickman, Vetsch, Skarperud, Coleman and Jackson each scored in the second period. Colten Bossert and Noah Diemer had goals for the Packers in the period. Bossert scored the final goal of the game in the third period.
Red River’s Jake Jenson stopped three of five shots and Bryar Werre saved 8 of 10. West Fargo’s Gavan Norton blocked 25 of 32 shots in the first period and Owen Holm saved 31 of 36 shots.
Red River improved to 11-2 in the East Region and 16-2 overall. West Fargo fell to 3-10 in the East Region and 5-12 overall.
Fargo South-Shanley 5, Grafton 0

FARGO — Fargo South-Shanley outshot Grafton 52-9 in the shutout win on Saturday.
Grafton is 1-9 in the East Region and 6-9-1 overall. South-Shanley is 11-2 in the East Region and 15-3 overall.

Andover 5, Moorhead 0
MOORHEAD — Isa Goettl recorded the hat trick to lead Andover to the win over the Spuds on Saturday.
Goettle scored the game’s first two goals and Ella Boerger scored in the final minute of the first for a 3-0 lead.
After a scoreless second period, Andover’s Nora Sauer scored at 6:06 of the third and Goettl got her hat trick with a goal at 8:49. Andover goalie Courtney Stagman stopped 30 shots to earn the shutout.
Andover now is 19-3 overall and Moorhead is 15-7 overall
Fargo North-South 3, Bismarck/Legacy 1

FARGO — North-South picked up the win over Bismark/Legacy on Saturday.
North-South improved to 9-3 in the league and 10-4-2 overall. Bismarck/Legacy dipped to 5-6 in the league and 7-8 overall.
Fargo Davies 2, Minot 0
MINOT — Noelle Lewis’ shutout helped lift Fargo Davies Eagles to the win over the Minot Majettes on Saturday afternoon.
Davies’ Reganne Silbernagel scored a goal six minutes into the first period on an assist from Abby Voeller. The game remained scoreless until the final minute of the third period. Lindsey Astrup scored an empty netter on assists from Leah Meyer and Voeller.
The Majettes’ Jillian Ackerman stopped 30 of 31 shots faced.
Davies advanced to 11-2 in the league and 13-3 overall. Minot dropped down to 9-2 in the league at 9-5-2 overall.
