Fargo Davies 5, GF Central 0

FARGO — Fargo Davies scored two first-half goals and poured it on in the second in an Eastern Dakota Conference win over Grand Forks Central on Friday.

Quinn Skari scored the game’s first goal on an assist from Jordan Lane and Sophie Bjerke made it 2-0 with a goal on assists from Madison Barnick and Ava Dorsam.

Bjerke scored again in the second half, this time on an assist from Alexa Hansen. Hansen then assisted on Leighton Roberson’s goal that made it 4-0. Barnick capped the scoring with a goal on assists from Bjerke and Roberson.

Davies goalkeeper Kaia Davidson stopped a shot and Central’s Hannah Biby made six saves. Davies improved to 5-0 while Central fell to 2-3-1.

Fargo Shanley 1, GF Red River 1

GRAND FORKS — The Fargo Shanley Deacons’ and Grand Forks Red River Roughriders’ EDC game couldn’t be resolved after 90 minutes and ended in a stalemate.


Shanley’s Ella Frisk notched the first goal of the contest in the first half. Emma Rohrich assisted on the goal. Red River’s Annick Lawson-Body scored unassisted.

Deacons goalkeeper Ashland Roach saved four shots and Red River’s Eden Parkinson stopped seven.
