Prep soccer roundup for Tuesday, May 2

FARGO — Emma Rohrich scored the game-winner in the second half in a EDC game against West Fargo Sheyenne played at Fargo Davies High School.

Shanley’s Molly Flaherty scored the game’s first goal in the first half on an assist from Aubrey Dew.

Sheyenne’s Alivia Anderson scored unassisted in the second half to tie it but Rohrich scored on an assist from Nora Roney.

Shanley goalkeeper Ashland Roach made three saves and Morgan Volvo stopped five shots.

FARGO — The Grand Forks Red River Roughriders bested the Fargo North Spartans in an EDC matchup on Tuesday night.

Solei Berg netted the first goal for North on a pass from Ahna Haugo in the fifth minute.

The Roughriders responded with two goals in eight minutes. In the 21st minute, Annick Lawson-Body buried her shot to tie the game. Reagan Hodny scored the eventual game-winner in the 29th minute.

West Fargo — The Fargo Davies Eagles cruised past the West Fargo Packers on Tuesday night.

GRAND FORKS — The Grand Forks Central Knights defeated the Fargo South Bruins in an EDC showdown on Tuesday.
