WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs cruised to victory over the Fargo South Bruins on Friday.
The Mustangs exploded offensively with nine hits to end the game after six innings. Sheyenne took advantage of the four Bruins errors and scored seven unearned runs.
Abby Misialek led Sheyenne, going 2 for 3 with three RBI. Addie Rolstad was 2 for 3 and Makenna Alexander went 2 for 4. Autumn McGough pitched four innings and struck out 10 and Anyah Moffett pitched one inning with one strikeout.
South’s Kairi Pflaters was 2 for 3 and Mea Nylander was 1 for 3. The Bruins pitching staff pitched five innings, gave up three unearned runs on nine hits with one strikeout.
West Fargo 7-13, Legacy 6-2
WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Packers swept the Bismarck Legacy Sabers in a non-conference doubleheader on Friday.

A four-run first inning paved the way for the Packers in the first game. The Sabers scratched two across in the seventh inning but couldn’t muster another run to tie the game.
West Fargo’s Courtney Docktor was 3 for 4 with three RBI. Mara Lick was 2 for 3 with two RBI and Emma Johnson ended 1 for 4 with two RBI. Grace Wehri pitched all seven innings for the Packers and gave up six runs on nine hits with six strikeouts.
Legacy’s Brynn Arnold went 2 for 3 and Keely Schiermeister was 2 for 4 with two RBI.
West Fargo started clicking in the second game and scored eight runs in the final two innings. The Packers pieced together 17 hits.
West Fargo pitcher Emma Johnson dominated on the mound and at the plate. She pitched a two-hitter, allowing one earned run and striking out five. She also was 3 for 4 with three RBI. Wehri went 3 for 3 and Grace Vetter was 2 for 4 with three RBI.
Arnold and Kathryn LeMoine picked up the lone hits for Legacy.

HORACE — The Grand Forks Red River Roughriders scored a flurry of runs against the West Fargo Horace Hawks on Friday night.

GRAND FORKS — The Fargo Davies Eagles edged the Grand Forks Central Knights in extra innings on Friday night.

Sartell 1-0, Moorhead 0-1
SARTELL — Pitcher’s ruled the day as Sartell and Moorhead split a doubleheader on Friday.
Sartell’s Danica Sarff was too tough to handle in the first game, finishing with a one-hitter. She walked two and struck out 14. Rylie Spitzner’s double was the Spuds’ lone hit. Avery Babolian took the loss despite allowing just a run on one hit in six innings.
In the second game, Moorhead’s Kellsey Kludt turned the tables on Sarff, pitching a one-hitter. She walked one and struck out 12.
The Spuds scored the game’s only run in the bottom of the first. Alexa Krueger led off with a single and cruised to third on Taylor Brueske’s sacrifice. Krueger then scored on a passed ball. Sarff allowed the run on one hit in six innings. She walked one and struck out eight.
