WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs cruised past the Devils Lake Firebirds in an Eastern Dakota Conference game on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mustangs started the game with a three-run first inning and made use of the four Firebirds errors. Sheyenne had 13 hits and Devils Lake had six.
The Mustangs’ Kate Geiszler was 2 for 2 with two walks. Addie Rolstad was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Lauren Schauer and Makenna Alexander both were 2 for 4 with an RBI. Autumn McGough tossed five scoreless innings in the circle, allowing five hits and striking out 11.
Devils Lake’s Tylie Brodina was 2 for 3 and Ava Beck was 1 for 2 with a stolen base.

West Fargo 23, Fargo Shanley 1 (F/5 inn.)
FARGO — The West Fargo Packers upended the Fargo Shanley Deacons in Tuesday night’s EDC matchup.
The Packers slammed the door on the Bruins after a 13-run second inning and outhit the Deacons 21-4. West Fargo’s Emma Johnson was dominant both offensively and defensively. Johnson pitched five innings, allowing one run on four hits with 11 strikeouts and she was 3 for 4 with five RBI.
Grace Vetter homered twice in the second inning and was 5 for 5. Kendel Krenz was 3 for 4 and Courtney Docktor ended 2 for 3 with two RBI.
Shanley’s Azahna Luschen knocked in the Deacons’ only run and was 1 for 3. Hailey Dingman was 1 for 2.

FARGO — The Fargo North Spartans bested the Valley City Hi-Liners in a Tuesday matchup.

GRAND FORKS — The Grand Forks Red River Roughriders defeated the Fargo Davies Eagles in a Tuesday EDC showdown.
WF Horace 22, Fargo South 13
HORACE — The West Fargo Horace Hawks stormed through the Fargo South Bruins in a high scoring EDC game.
DGF 7-13, Hawley 2-1
HAWLEY — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton scored early and rode out a win in the first game, then blew out Hawley in the second to sweep a doubleheader on Tuesday.
In the first game, the Rebels scored six runs in the first two innings to take a 6-2 lead. Skylar Spessard and Kaleigh Peterson both had two hits and two RBI, and Ellie Boyd and Makayla Winter both had two hits and an RBI.
Natalee Linman also had two hits and she pitched the first two innings, allowing two unearned runs on two hits. Autumn Leach pitched scoreless ball the final five innings, allowing four hits and striking out eight.
The Rebels put away the second game in five innings, scoring all their runs on 12 singles.

Spessard was 2 for 2 with two runs batted in and Winter had two hits and an RBI. Boyd was 3 for 3 and Makayla Bjelland was 2 for 3. Leach went all five innings, allowing one unearned run on three hits. She walked two and struck out five.
