MOORHEAD — Moorhead secured a 3-1 softball win over Fargo South Monday.
Rhein Mohagen led the Spuds with two hits and two runs. Kate Gulbranson added a home run, her first, while Avery Babolian helped shut down the Bruins from the plate. The pitcher allowed just three hits and recorded 12 strikeouts.
Moorhead improved to 5-7 on the year, while South dropped to 5-10 on the year.
