WEST FARGO — West Fargo had all facets of its game running smoothly in a 21-0 win over Grand Forks Red River on Saturday.
The Packers' scored 12 runs in the first inning, three in the second and six in the fourth. Twelve West Fargo players accounted for the team's 15 hits and 10 drove in runs.
Emma Johnson hit a three-run home run in the first and Ashlyn Diemert hit a two-run blast in the inning. Johnson had four RBI and Katelyn Kachman had two hits and three RBI.
Johnson got the win, allowing two hits and striking out seven in four innings. Grace Fleming allowed a hit in the fifth but also struck out the side.
