KINDRED, N.D. — Kindred Vikings junior lineman Riley Sunram continues to garner heavy NCAA Division I football interest, and now has nine D-I scholarship offers — seven from FBS programs — including his latest offer from Missouri.

Sunram announced Friday, Nov. 25, that he received an offer from Missouri after a game-day visit with the Tigers .

Sunram announced Nov. 5, via social media that he received an offer from Nebraska after their game against the University of Minnesota.

Kansas State also offered the 6-foot-5, 265-pound Sunram. Kansas State is coached by former Bison head coach Chris Klieman. Sunram is slated for a game-day visit Nov. 26 at K-State. Nebraska, Kansas State, Iowa State, Kansas, Duke, Minnesota and Missouri are his offers from Power Five programs. North Dakota State and the University of North Dakota also offered Sunram.

“Whatever fits me, whatever feels right," Riley said of making a final decision, which he would like to do before his senior high school football season next fall.

Division I schools could start contacting and offering Sunram again on Sept. 1 after a dead period in recruiting. He had three in-person offers over the summer before the recruiting opened up again.

“It was pretty busy,” said Sunram, who is in the 2024 recruiting class. “It was kind of fun, all these coaches were reaching out and stuff. It’s been fun. A lot of coaches have been calling me every week and stuff like that. I’m still trying to focus right now because right now college is in my future.”

Sunram plays offensive and defensive line for Kindred, which finished this past season with a 10-1 record and advanced to the North Dakota Class 11B state quarterfinals.

“If you don’t ask Riley about it, he won’t tell you about it,” said Ryan Sunram, Riley’s father. “I think mom and dad get more excited or want to hear more than what he tells us.”
