GIRLS

WF Sheyenne 74, Red River 59

GRAND FORKS — A balanced scoring attack sparked West Fargo Sheyenne to an Eastern Dakota Conference win over Grand Forks Red River.

Sheyenne’s Alivia Manson had a team-high 14 points with four rebounds and three steals. Karson Sanders tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Brenna Dick poured in 12 points with six boards, and Maya Metcalf rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12 points and five rebounds.

Jocelyn Schiller led Red River with a game-high 28 points. Hannah Litzinger added 16 points.

The Mustangs pushed their win streak to six games, rising to 9-3 overall and 8-3 in the EDC. Red River fell to 7-2 both overall and in the EDC.

Minnetonka 99, Moorhead 20

MOORHEAD — Minnetonka cruised to victory over Moorhead in Minnesota Class 4A action.

Anna Nelson and Rosie Anderson each scored six points to lead the Spuds. Nelson collected five rebounds.

Kiani Lockett finished with 21 points to lead the Skippers, while Desiree Ware poured in 17 points with eight boards.

The Spuds fell to 3-10 overall, while Minnetonka improved to 13-1 overall.

BOYS

Four Winds 82, Oak Grove 62

FORT TOTTEN, N.D. — Top-ranked Four Winds-Minnewaukan cruised by Fargo Oak Grove in North Dakota Class B play.

Oak Grove dropped to 4-7 overall. Four Winds, which is ranked No. 1 in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Class B poll, rose to 10-0 this season.
