WF Sheyenne 11, Jamestown 5

WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne took down Jamestown in nonconference action Thursday at Young Field.

The game was called in the bottom of the sixth inning due to rain.

Tate Gustafson finished 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs for the Mustangs. Konner Entz went 1 for 1 with two RBIs and Caleb Duerr was 2 of 2 with an RBI. Trey Stocker went 2 for 2 with a triple and Tanner Boehm was 1 of 1.

Sheyenne improved to 12-7 overall, while Jamestown fell to 9-8 overall.

PARK RAPIDS, Minn. — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton cruised to victory over Park Rapids behind Owen Hoover’s big game.


Hoover finished 2 for 4 and drove in four runs to lead the Rebels. Peyton Aas was 2 of 3 with two runs and two RBIs. Austin Anderson had two hits and two runs, while Grant Anderson tallied one hit, one run and an RBI. Kaden Altobelli posted one hit and one RBI.

D-G-F pitcher Landon Johnson tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings, giving up three hits, walking four and striking out five.

The Rebels rose to 9-5 overall.

Valley City 14, Fargo Davies 3

FARGO — Valley City scored four in the second and six more in the third to take control and the Hi-Liners scored twice in the fifth inning to end an Eastern Dakota Conference game.

Davies’ Paul Narum singled and had an RBI, Jacob Beckman had two hits, and Chayse Keller and Jackson Sturma both singled.

Valley City upped its records to 6-7 overall and 4-5 in the EDC, while Davies fell to 0-15 overall and 0-10 in the conference.
