Fargo Davies 83, Devils Lake 38

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Ashton Safranski had an unconventional double-double to fuel Fargo Davies to an Eastern Dakota Conference win over Devils Lake.

Safranski finished with 16 points and 16 steals, tacking on five rebounds and five assists. Maci Wheeldon scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Ava Wild had 10 points with three blocks. Karley Franks tallied seven points and seven steals, and Kennedy Vettel added seven points.

Rachel Dahlen scored 10 points to lead Devils Lake. Rebekah Widmer, Jolie Martinson and Lainey Hall each had four points.

Davies rose to 8-1 both overall and in the EDC. Devils Lake dropped to 4-4 both overall and in the conference.

WF Sheyenne 95, Wahpeton 76

WAHPETON, N.D. — Brenna Dick dropped 31 points for West Fargo Sheyenne as the Mustangs cruised to an EDC win over Wahpeton.


Dick tacked on nine rebounds for the near double-double. Alivia Manson tallied 17 points and four rebounds. Maya Metcalf had a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards, adding four assists. Peyton Breidenbach finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Karson Sanders rounded out Sheyene’s double-digit scorers with 12 points.

Emma Bontjes led Wahpeton with 20 points and seven rebounds. McKena Koolmo poured in 19 points, and Lidia Motl added 13 points and seven boards.

Sheyenne has won five games in a row, improving to 8-3 overall and 7-3 in the EDC. Wahpeton fell to 3-7 both overall and in the EDC.

West Fargo 99, Valley City 45

WEST FARGO — West Fargo rolled to an EDC victory over Valley City for the Packers’ 10th win this season.

West Fargo improved to 10-1 overall and 9-1 in the EDC. Valley City fell to 1-8 overall and 1-7 in the conference.

Oak Grove 47, Lisbon 46

LISBON, N.D. — McKenna McIlonie scored 15 points and Isabel Anderson scored 14 to lead the Grovers over Lisbon in Class B, Region 1 action.

The Grovers’ Ellie Machayya and Remi Johnson both scored six points. Lisbon’s Emerson Schultz scored 12 points and Asha Sweet scored 11.

Oak Grove is 4-10 overall while Lisbon fell to 5-6 overall.


Ada-Borup 57, Park Christian 44

ADA, Minn. — Kaya Lee scored 28 points to lead Ada-Borup-West past Moorhead Park Christian in Minnesota Section 6A action.

Dyllan Miller poured in 13 points for Ada-Borup.

Annika Johnson finished with 21 points to lead Park Christian. Jenna Reimche scored nine points and Andie Sandman added six.

Ada-Borup improved to 7-5 overall, while Park Christian fell to 4-10 overall.
