FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne stifled Fargo Shanley to pick up an Eastern Dakota Conference victory on Tuesday.
Sheyenne held a 33-21 lead at halftime. The Mustangs contained the Deacons to 14 of 45 from the field (31%).
Mike Nhial scored a game-high 20 points with nine rebounds to lead the Mustangs. Kaleb Larson tallied 11 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals. Dominic Dosmann added eight points and eight rebounds.
Anthony Wanner finished with 11 points to pace Shanley (5-6, 5-5 EDC). Carter Jaeger added 10 points and Tyler Kraft scored seven.
Sheyenne (9-1, 8-1 EDC) pushed it’s win streak to seven games.

Fargo South 78, Fargo North 68
FARGO — Four Bruins scored double-digit points to lift Fargo South to an EDC win over Fargo North.
Diamond McGill paced South with 19 points. James Hamilton followed with 15 points, and Cole Kegbeh tallied a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Evan Booth poured in 11 points.
Jeremiah Sem scored a game-high 32 points to lead the Spartans. Carter Zeller tacked on 14 points.
South rose to 6-5 overall and 6-4 in the EDC. North dropped to 6-5 overall and 5-5 in the conference.
GIRLS
WF Sheyenne 73, Fargo Shanley 68
FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne knocked off Fargo Shanley in EDC play to extend its win streak.
Maya Metcalf scored 20 points to lead the Mustangs, also bringing down nine rebounds. Brenna Dick followed with 19 points, and Peyton Breidenbach scored 13 points and dished out a team-high four assists. Karson Sanders poured in 11 points to round out Sheyenne’s double-digit scorers.
Hannah Hoedl had 22 points with four rebounds, four assists and four steals to lead the Deacons. Emily Srejma scored 20 points with seven rebounds and six assists. Mesiku Hakim added 18 points with nine rebounds and three assists.
Sheyenne improved to 7-3 overall and 6-3 in the EDC, winning four games in a row. Shanley fell to 5-6 overall and 5-5 in the conference.

Fargo South 64, Fargo North 44
FARGO — Adie Wagner powered Fargo South to victory over Fargo North in EDC action.
Wagner scored a game-high 26 points to pace the Bruins. In the process, Wagner reached 2,000 points for her career. Brynn Nelson poured in 17 points.
Arden Faulkner led North with 15 points and Emily Skalicky followed with 10.
South rose to 5-6 overall and 4-6 in the EDC. North fell to 3-8 overall and 3-7 in the conference.
