Moorhead 78, Red River 71

MOORHEAD — Dylan Zimmerman scored 28 points to lead Moorhead by Grand Forks Red River on Tuesday night.

Zimmerman was one of four Spuds to score in double figures and they almost had a fifth. Moorhead’s Mekhi Elmore scored 13 points. John Jenkins and Adam Jenkins both scored 12 and Hunter Wachenheim poured in eight.

Zachary Kraft led Red River with 27 points and Paine Parks finished with 15.

Moorhead improved to 6-8 overall, while Red River fell to 5-5 overall.

Fargo Davies 84, Wahpeton 47

WAHPETON, N.D. — Fargo Davies cruised to an Eastern Dakota Conference victory over Wahpeton.

Raymond Brown paced the Eagles with 20 points, adding five rebounds and four steals. Mason Klabo followed with 18 points and three steals. Ian Motschenbacher poured in 14 points with seven boards and four steals, while Alex Proctor added 10 points.

Ethan Manock scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Wahpeton. Caden Hockert had 12 points.

Davies improved to 10-1 overall and 9-1 in the conference. Wahpeton fell to 2-10 overall and 9-10 in the EDC.

West Fargo 104, Devils Lake 67

WEST FARGO — Six Packers scored in double figures as West Fargo rolled by Devils Lake in EDC play.

Foday Sheriff contributed across the board to lead West Fargo, finishing with 23 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and four steals. Nick Carlson had 18 points with eight boards and three assists. Carson Hegerle followed with 16 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Brett Limke scored 14 points and dished out five assists. Parker Nelson and Cole Tiedeman each added 10 points to round out the Packers’ double-digit scorers. Nelson passed out a team-high six assists.

Wylee Delorme and Oliver Wirth each tallied 12 points to lead Devils Lake.

The Packers improved to 10-2 overall and 9-2 in the EDC. Devils Lake fell to 2-8 overall and 2-7 in the conference.


Fargo Shanley 69, Fargo South 63

FARGO — Shanley rebounded from a two-point halftime deficit to down South in an Eastern Dakota Conference game on Tuesday at South High School.

Connor Kraft led Shanley with 29 points while James Hamilton scored 34 points for South.

Shanley improved to 6-6 overall and 6-5 in the EDC. South fell to 6-7 overall and 6-6 in the EDC.

Fargo North 66, Valley City 34

VALLEY CITY, N.D. — Fargo North stifled Valley City to help secure an EDC win over the Hi-Liners.

North held Valley City to 20% (11 of 55) from the field. The Spartans shot 51% (26 of 51) from the floor.

Carter Zeller led North with 15 points, adding six rebounds. Isaac Cody followed with 12 points and three steals. Jeremiah Sem poured in 10 points.

Adam Bitz and Cal Burchill each scored seven points to lead Valley City.

North improved to 7-6 overall and 6-6 in the EDC. Valley City fell to 0-10 overall and 0-9 in the EDC.


Win-E-Mac 64, Park Christian 57

MOORHEAD — Win-E-Mac topped Moorhead Park Christian in Minnesota Class A play.

Andrew Hultin led Park Christian with 15 points.

Justin Courneya led Win-E-Mac with 29 points.

Park Christian dropped to 4-11 overall, while the Patriots improved to 5-9 overall.
