Devils Lake 76, West Fargo 66

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Devils Lake knocked off West Fargo in Eastern Dakota Conference action, handing the Packers only their second loss this season.

Miriley Simon had a game-high 24 points to pace West Fargo. Brylie Peterson and Solveig Seymour each scored 12 points.

Rachel Dahlen scored 20 points to lead the Firebirds. Kiya McLaurin and Cabryn Fritel each poured in 15 points.

West Fargo fell to 10-2 overall and 9-2 in the EDC. Devils Lake improved to 5-4 both overall and in the EDC.

Fargo Shanley 75, Fargo South 67

FARGO — Mesiku Hakim’s scoring outburst boosted Fargo Shanley to an EDC victory over Fargo South.

Hakim dropped a game-high 35 points to lead the Deacons. Hakim brought down eight rebounds. Emily Srejma had a double-double with 18 points and 17 rebounds. Hannah Hoedl totaled 12 points, four assists and three steals.

Adie Wagner had a strong scoring night of her own to pace the Bruins. Wagner scored 30 points and grabbed six rebounds. Teigan Malo poured in 17 points with nine rebounds and Brynn Nelson had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Shanley rose to 6-6 overall and 6-5 in the EDC. South fell to 6-7 overall and 5-7 in the EDC.

Fargo Davies 101, Wahpeton 65

FARGO — Davies took a 21-point lead by halftime and kept charging throughout the second half in a win over Wahpeton on Tuesday.

Six Davies players anchored a balanced attack scoring between 12 and 18 points. The Eagles had 23 steals and 28 assists on 42 made baskets.

Marissa Burian scored 18 points, Maci Wheeldon had 16 points and seven rebounds, and Karley Franks had 14 points and five rebounds.

Ashton Safranski had 13 points, five rebounds and nine steals, Ashley Wacha had 12 points and five boards and Ava Wild had 12 points, five assists and five steals.

Scout Woods led Wahpeton with 14 points.

Davies improved to 10-1 overall and 9-1 in the EDC while Wahpeton fell to 4-8 overall and 3-8 in the conference.

Red River 63, Moorhead 36

GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Red River cruised to a win over Moorhead in nonconference play.

Anna Nelson and Kate Gulbranson each scored seven points to lead the Spuds. Alicia Maddux scored six points, while Haley Oberg and Rosie Anderson each added five.

Jocelyn Schiller scored 20 points with six assists and seven steals to lead Red River. Cassidy O’Halloran and Rylie McQuillan each had eight points.

Moorhead fell to 3-11 overall, while the Roughriders improved to 8-2 overall.

Central Cass 69, Oak Grove 22

FARGO — Central Cass rolled to victory over Fargo Oak Grove in North Dakota Class B, Region 1 action.

Decontee Smith led Central Cass with 17 points and Jaylin Cotton followed with 16. Klaire Cotton poured in 11 points.

Mari Bolme scored four points to pace the Grovers. Ellie Machayya, McKenna McIlonie and Remi Johnson each tacked on three points.

Central Cass, tied for third in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Class B poll, rose to 13-1 overall. Oak Grove dropped to 4-11 overall.

D-G-F 43, Barnesville 41

BARNESVILLE, Minn. — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton knocked off Barnesville in Minnesota Section 8AA play.

Aria Garrett led D-G-F with 15 points. Makayla Winter followed with nine points, while Gabrielle Tucker and Ashley Taves each poured in eight points.

Emily Smith had 12 points to lead the Trojans, while Lauren Halverson scored 10 points.

The Rebels improved to 2-11 overall, while Barnesville fell to 7-6 overall.

Fargo North 50, Valley City 41

FARGO — The Spartans took down Valley City in an EDC matchup.

North rose to 4-9 overall and 4-8 in the EDC, while Valley City fell to 1-9 overall and 1-8 in the EDC.
