Fargo South 5, GF Red River 4
FARGO — Fargo South scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to upend Grand Forks Red River in an Eastern Dakota Conference game on Wednesday.
Red River scored in the top of the eighth for a 4-3 lead. In the bottom half, South’s Hannah Carriveau singled to lead off, Tristyn Struck walked and Katelyn Erickson singled to load the bases. Carriveau stole home as part of a double steal to tie the game and Red River then made an error on Nevaeh Anderson’s ground ball and Struck scored the game-winning run.
Erickson was 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs. Carriveau was 2 for 3, and Emily Jordahl doubled and drove in a run. Adie Wagner doubled and Struck singled.
Red River is now 8-6 overall and 10-6 in EDC points.
D-G-F 10, 18, Pelican Rapids 0, 6
GLYNDON, Minn. — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton continued its strong play, rolling to a doubleheader sweep over Pelican Rapids.

In Game 1, Makayla Bjelland went 3 for 4, including a double, with two RBIs to lead the Rebels. Mallory Leitner finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Evelyn Moe had two hits and three runs scored. Natalee Linman finished 3 for e with one RBI.
Leitner and Linman each tossed three innings for the Rebels and each notched six strikeouts. Leitner gave up one hit and one walk, while Linman surrendered two hits with zero walks.
D-G-F found itself in an early 5-0 hole after the first inning of Game 2, but responded with four runs in the second. Pelican Rapids added one more in its half of the second to go up 6-4, but the Rebels plated five in the top of the third to pull away for good. Leading 13-6 after five innings, D-G-F put up five more in the next inning to end the game after the sixth.
Leitner finished 3 for 4, including a home run and a double, with three runs and three RBIs for the Rebels. Winter finished 4 for 4 with three runs and two RBIs. Ellie Boyd went 3 for 4 with two runs and three RBIs. Lexi Fromke had a hit and drove in three runs, while Skylar Spessard knocked in two runs.
Linman came on in relief of Game 2 and pitched five solid innings. She surrendered one run on three hits with nine strikeouts and a walk.
D-G-F rose to 13-0 overall.
WF Sheyenne 16, Fargo South 0
FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne rolled to a shutout win over Fargo South in EDC action.
Sheyenne pushed its win streak to seven games, improving to 11-1 overall and 16-0 in EDC points. South is now 4-6 overall and 8-6 in EDC points.

Valley City 7, Fargo Davies 6
VALLEY CITY, N.D. — Valley City edged Davies in a conference matchup.
The Hi-Liners rose to 3-12 overall and 4-8 in EDC points. Davies dropped to 2-10 overall and 2-14 in EDC points.
