MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee cruised to a 10-1 victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Friday in American Association baseball at Franklin Field.
Milwaukee plated three runs in the first inning and three more in the third to pull away. Former RedHawk Dylan Kelly put Milwaukee up 1-0 with an RBI single. Later in the inning, former F-M player Correlle Prime scored on a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0. Kelly finished 5 for 5 with two runs and an RBI for the Milkmen.
Rymer Liriano continued his strong play for the RedHawks. He finished 2 for 4 with a solo home run to lead the way. Drew Ward hit a double, while Manuel Boscan, Sam Dexter and Darian Sandford each added a hit.
The RedHawks (13-6) have lost two of their last three after rattling off nine consecutive wins. F-M and Milwaukee (10-9) are slated to square off again at 6 p.m. Saturday.
