RedHawks roll to victory over Cleburne

Drew Ward went 2 for 3, including his third home run this season, with a run and two RBIs for the RedHawks

CLEBURNE, Texas — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks cruised to a 7-1 victory over Cleburne on Friday in American Association baseball at The Depot at Cleburne Station.

Drew Ward went 2 for 3, including his third home run this season, with a run and two RBIs for the RedHawks. Manual Boscan finished with a team-high three hits with two runs and an RBI. Darian Sandford went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI. John Silviano and Peter Maris also drove in a run.

RedHawks starting pitcher Sebastian Kessay tossed five innings, giving up one run on three hits with three walks and four strikeouts to earn the win.

F-M (4-3) and Cleburne (2-5) are scheduled to square off again at 7:06 p.m. Saturday.
