FARGO — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks cruised to an 11-3 win over Lincoln on Friday in American Association baseball before 3,346 fans at Newman Outdoor Field.

Evan Alexander and Christian Correa each went 2-for-4 with four RBIs to lead the RedHawks. Correa belted his second home run this season. John Silviano saw the ball well, finishing 4-for-5, including two doubles, with four runs and an RBI. Drew Ward tacked on three hits and two runs, while Peter Maris had two hits. As a team, F-M stacked up 16 hits.

Despite only bringing three runs home, Lincoln wasn't far behind in the hits department with 13.

RedHawks starter Kevin McGovern (6-1) surrendered three runs on 10 hits with one walk and four strikeouts to earn the win.

The RedHawks (32-12) and Lincoln (22-21) are slated to square off again at 7:02 p.m. Saturday at Newman Outdoor Field.
