LINCOLN, Neb. — Three Fargo-Moorhead pitchers combined on a three-hitter and the RedHawks defeated Lincoln 2-0 on Thursday at Haymarket Park.

RedHawks starter Davis Feldman went seven innings, allowing three hits. He walked three and struck out 10. Reliever Tanner Riley struck out two in the eighth and Reid Birlingmair pitched the ninth, striking out one, to get the save.

F-M scored all the runs the trio would need right out of the gate. Evan Alexander led off the game with a solo home run. Manny Boscan and Dillon Thomas followed with singles, and Boscan scored on Leo Pina's sacrifice fly to center field.

The RedHawks took two of three from the Saltdogs and open a three-game series at Milwaukee at 6:35 p.m. Friday, May 26.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
