Red River baseball edges Sheyenne in pitchers' duel

WEST FARGO — It was a pitchers duel at Sheyenne High School on Tuesday, May 14, as Grand Forks Red River and West Fargo Sheyenne faced off.

The game was scoreless into the sixth inning, when Red River's Zach Carolin brought in the game's only two runs to give Red River the win.

The victory moved the Roughriders from fifth in the Eastern Dakota Conference standing to second, only one-and-a-half games back of Grand Forks Central.

Red River will host Davies on Thursday.
