FARGO-The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed right-handed pitcher Colton Reavis, the American Association baseball team announced on Tuesday, March 29.

Reavis, 26, was in the Tampa Bay Rays organization last season, starting the year with the Montgomery Biscuits of the Class Double-A Southern League. He also pitched for the Gulf Coast League Rays (rookie) and the Charlotte Stone Crabs of the Florida State League (High-A). Overall, he went 0-4 with a 6.70 ERA and one save in 40 games. He struck out 49 batters in 45.2 innings.

"We think Colton will be a big part of closing out ballgames for us this season," RedHawks manager Doug Simunic said in a news release.

The RedHawks have 23 players signed for the upcoming season.
