SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Fargo-Moorhead's Ruben Salazar went 4-for-6 with a home run while scoring the winning run to key the RedHawks to a 7-6 win over Sioux City in 12 innings at Lewis and Clark Park on Saturday.
The teams went into extra innings tied at 5-all. Both teams scored a run in the 10th inning.
Salazar scored in the 12th inning on a Toby Rumfield single and two ensuing throwing errors.
Fargo-Moorhead (37-16) faces Sioux City at 5:05 tonight. Right-hander Greg Salvevold (4-2, 4.50 ERA) faces Explorers righty Chris Swiatkiewicz (7-4, 2.90).
