CALGARY, Alberta - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks opened a six-game road trip with a 12-6 Northern League baseball victory over Calgary.
Brent Krause went 5-for-5, including a two-run homer in the first inning over the center field wall located more 400 feet away.
Richard Austin hit his ninth home run of the season on the next pitch to give the RedHawks an early 3-0 lead.
F-M never trailed, as it pounded out 16 hits.
Allen Mottram also added a home run for the RedHawks, who will send Brandon Culp (2-4) to the mound at 2:35 p.m. today against Calgary's Javier Ortiz (2-2).
