RedHawks sign Cobbers' catcher Johnson

Concordia senior catcher Kyle Johnson has signed a professional contract with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, the Northern League baseball team announced Wednesday.

Concordia senior catcher Kyle Johnson has signed a professional contract with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, the Northern League baseball team announced Wednesday.

Johnson just completed his four-year career for the Cobbers. Johnson blasted a school record 14 home runs in 33 games this spring.

He also batted .404 with 36 RBIs and had a .947 slugging percentage.
