The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks began to shape its 2009 roster Thursday with the signing a pair of young pitchers.
Lefty Tim Johnson was 9-2 with a 3.58 earned run average as the senior ace at North Carolina A&T last season. He had 106 strikeouts in 103 innings.
Righthander Matt Morris was 0-1 with a 12.27 earned run average last year at Columbia Union College in Maryland.
The RedHawks came to terms with veteran infielder Ruben Salazar for this year immediately after last season.
