RedHawks sign a pair of pitchers, lose Boleska

FARGO - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks baseball club of the American Association signed pitchers Wade Morrison and Ryne Nelson on Tuesday.

The team lost recently-signed RHP Tom Boleska who signed a contract with the Miami Marlins and reported to the team's Minor League Spring Training camp.

Morrison a 25-year-old RHP, spent time with the Kansas City T-Bones and the Normal (Ill.) Cornbelters of the Fronteir League last season.

He was 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA in six innings pitched with the T-Bones and posted a 6.23 ERA in 8 Xc innings with the Cornbelters.

Nelson a 25-year-old RHP, has been out of professional baseball for two season and last played with the Texarkana Gunslingers of the Continental League posting a 2-0 record with four saves in 2009.

Both Morrison and Nelson are classified as rookies in the American Association.
