Dustin Erbes scored 16 points and Kyle Breuer 15 to lead the Richland Colts to a 62-58 overtime victory over Detroit Lakes Tuesday in the first round of the Shanley basketball tournament.
Breuer hit five of eight free throws in overtime to help secure the victory.
Ranked No. 5 in the North Dakota Class B poll, Richland (4-0) plays Minneapolis DeLaSalle at 5:30 p.m. today in the semifinals. Detroit Lakes (2-3) plays Pelican Rapids (3-2) at 2 p.m. in the consolation semifinals.
Nils Thomsen paced the Lakers with a game-high 25 points.
