Roseau, Crookston advance to 8AA girls basketball title game

CROOKSTON — Kacie and Katie Borowicz led the Roseau Rams to their fifth straight 8AA championship game.

Senior Kacie Borowicz had 22 points and 7 rebounds and sophomore Katie Borowicz had 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in a 84-71 win over Breckenridge.

The Rams will play Crookston in the section championship game.

The Pirates stifled East Grand Forks with a 47-35 win. Crookston started the game on a 7-0 run and didn't look back.


Emma Borowicz had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Pirates. Kasey Cwilka had 10 points as well for Crookston.
