FORMAN, N.D. – Sargent Central senior guard Hannah Schlecht broke the school’s girls basketball scoring record in the Cadets’ 50-38 win against Fargo Oak Grove on Monday.
Schlecht scored 13 points in the game to give her 1,135 career points.
The previous record was held by Jackie (Smith) Walby, who scored 1,126 points at Sargent Central.
The Cadets are 5-1 overall this season and received votes in the latest North Dakota Class B poll.
