Shootout lifts Force over Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Sioux Falls led in shots 35-19 but the Fargo Force skirted by 3-2 after a shootout win in United States Hockey League action on Sunday.

Goalie Ryan Bischel recorded 33 saves for the Force. Hank Crone scored the first goal and Ben Meyers scored the second. Aaron Huglen, Meyers and Crone each scored in the shootout.

The Force (28-21-4) next play Central Illinois on Friday, March 22.
