Soccer: Cobbers moving men's soccer game to turf field

Concordia is moving today's men's soccer game against Crown College to Jake Christiansen Stadium. It will be the first soccer game played on the newly installed FieldTurf.

Concordia is moving today's men's soccer game against Crown College to Jake Christiansen Stadium. It will be the first soccer game played on the newly installed FieldTurf.

The game is set to start at 5:30 p.m., following the Concordia-Valley City State football game. The game against was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. on the grass soccer field next to Jake Christiansen Stadium.

"The men are pretty excited about the turf," said Cobbers men's soccer coach Dan Weiler, who also coaches the Concordia women's team.

The Cobbers women's soccer game against Wisconsin-Eau Claire remains scheduled for

2 p.m. today on the grass game field.
