MOORHEAD - Moorhead earned a 2-0 shutout victory against Alexandria on Thursday night in boys high school soccer.

Aiden Copeland scored for the Spuds in the 28th minute, assisted by Jeron Sheldon. Sheldon netted a goal in the 65th minute on an assist from William Vargas.

Moorhead goalie Caden Triggs recorded six saves.

The Spuds rose to 3-3 overall, while Alexandria fell to 2-3 overall.

Fargo South 4, Fargo North 2

FARGO - Tate Simpson scored two goals to lead Fargo South to a 4-2 victory over Fargo North.

The Bruins had a 22-7 shots advantage. Simpson scored the first goal for South in the 12th minute on a pass from Ashise Gurung. Gabe Borowicz netted the Bruins' second goal near the end of the first half on an assist form Nobin Gurung. Gentil Irakoze and Simpson each netted a goal in the 45th and 46th minute, respectively.

Alex Janssen got North on the scoreboard with a goal in the 73rd minute. Caden Headlee added a goal for the Spartans in the 74th minute.

South improved to 3-2-4 overall, while North fell to 0-9 overall.

Fargo Davies 4, Fargo Shanley 0

FARGO - Fargo Davies upended Fargo Shanley 4-0 Thursday night in boys soccer.

Andy Thomas, Casey Haldis, Eric Bimenyimana and Jack Olson each scored a goal for Davies. Thomas, Haldis and Bimenyimana also had assists.

Noah Sahr had five saves for Davies, while Cam Hoff had five saves for Shanley.

Fargo Davies improved to 7-0-1, while Shanley fell to 3-4-0 overall.

West Fargo 7, West Fargo Sheyenne 1

WEST FARGO - West Fargo cruised to a 7-1 victory over West Fargo Sheyenne.

The Packers rose to 6-1-1 overall, while the Mustangs fell to 2-3-2 overall.

Moorhead 5, Alexandria 0

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - Moorhead shut out Alexandria 5-0 Thursday in Minnesota girls high school soccer.

Lauren Hodny scored two goals to lead the Spuds. Kylie Englund had one goal and one assist, while Olivia Watson and Tyra Djaerf each netted a goal. Izzy Grundstrom added an assist.

Spuds goalie Emily Soukup recorded two saves.

Moorhead rose to 4-2 overall, while Alexandria fell to 0-4 overall.
