FARGO — The North Dakota State women's soccer team cruised to a 3-0 shutout win over Viterbo in an exhibition game Wednesday night at Dacotah Field.
The game remained scoreless until the 55th minute when Marian Taiwo put NDSU up 1-0 with an unassisted goal. Mariah Haberle scored 13 minutes later on assists from Taiwo and Sydney Johnson. Elyse Huber netted a goal in the 85th minute on an assist from Grace Sjoberg to cap the scoring.
The Bison will play the University of Minnesota at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul in the team's second and final exhibition game.
