INDIANOLA, Iowa —Concordia scored two second half goals en route to a 2-2 tie against Simpson in non-conference men's soccer Sunday afternoon at Buxton Stadium.
Simpson tallied two goals within one minute of each other, in the 44th and 45th minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Nate Weaver sparked the comeback for the Cobbers with a goal in the 83rd minute, before Sam Gess netted his 14th goal the year just one minute later.
Simpson moved to 13-1-1 on the year, while Concordia stands at 8-3-2. The Cobbers will host Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent St. Thomas at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
