OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha recorded a 2-0 shutout win over the University of North Dakota in Summit League women's soccer Monday afternoon.

Thirty seconds into the second half, Sophia Green found the back of the net, scoring the game's first goal for Omaha (2-0) Assists came from Hannah Heinemann and Kaitlyn Cook. Nearly 20 minutes later, Andrea Daves made it a 2-0 game off the pass from Laurin Mertz.

UND totaled just six shots, with Bailey McNitt and Mara Yapello each recording a shot on goal. Madi Livingston had five saves for the Hawks.

UND (0-2) heads to Macomb, Ill., for a two-game series with Western Illinois, beginning at 2 p.m., Friday, March 5.
