ST. PAUL — Macalester netted three goals in the second half to spark a 4-1 victory over Concordia in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer Wednesday at Macalester Stadium.

Hans Haenicke put Macalester on the board first with a goal in the second minute. Concordia's Nate Weaver knotted it at 1-1 in the 30th minute with an unassisted goal. Weaver led the Cobbers with five shots on goal.

Thomas Dono, Haenicke and Silas Southworth each scored in the second half to give Macalester the 4-1 advantage.

Cobbers goalie Jensen Walz tallied three saves. Concordia (2-4, 0-1 MIAC) will host St. Scholastica at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
