MOORHEAD — Minnesota State Moorhead fell short in two games against the University of Sioux Falls on Sunday, losing 3-2 and then 4-3 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball.

Emma Dummer went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and two RBIs to lead the Dragons. Ashley McCance had a double and run scored, while Jordie McNeilly and Jordey Smith both had hits.

Becky Berth took the loss for MSUM, giving up one earned run, allowing three runs and striking out one.

MSUM is 11-22 overall and 5-11 in the NSIC and next play Southwest Minnesota State at 2 p.m. Monday.
