MORRIS, Minn. — Concordia breezed past Minnesota-Morris 11-1 in five innings and was then shut out 8-0 in a college softball doubleheader Thursday.

The Cobbers compiled 17 hits in Game 1, led by Maria Pake who went 3-for-3 with three runs. Val Kolstad went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Megan Gavin pitched the entire first game, giving up a hit with five strikeouts.

Concordia's momentum didn't carry over to Game 2, as the Cobbers totaled three hits. Pake, Mikenna Becker and Jayda Haugen each had one hit.

The Cobber (9-25) will host St. Mary's at noon Sunday for Teddy Bear Posse/Senior Day.
