CLERMONT, Fla.-Freshman pitcher Megan Gavin tossed a three-hit shutout to help Concordia win two games Tuesday in college softball at Legends Way Ballfield.

Gavin struck out 10 batters to lead the Cobbers to a 5-0 victory against Houghton (N.Y.).

Concordia added a 17-5 victory in six innings against Johnson (Vermont) State.

Cobbers sophomore Elizabeth Asp went 3-for-3 with a triple and RBI against Houghton. Asp added 4-for-4 performance with two RBIs against Johnson State. Madi Veith went 3-for-3 for with two RBIs against Johnson State. Concordia improved to 3-3 overall.
