ST. PAUL — Concordia took a five-run lead in the top of the first inning of game two but Bethel put together a couple big innings of its own and completed the sweep of the Cobbers on Wednesday.

Bethel won the first game 4-0 and game two 9-5.

In the second game, Concordia's Amy Quast had three hits and Karissa Finnigan had two hits. Ashley Hendrickson, Hannah Wilke and Kenzie Leither all had an RBI.

In the first game, Bethel's Kayla Simacek improved to 10-4 firing a one-hitter and striking out 15 Cobbers. Riley Bergstrom picked up Concordia's lone hit.

Concordia fell to 17-15 while Bethel improved to 17-7. The Cobbers play host to St. Thomas and 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24.
