MOORHEAD — A four-run rally in the fifth inning of game two helps Minnesota State Moorhead gain a split with Concordia-St. Paul in an NSIC doubleheader on Sunday.

The Dragons rallied for the 5-4 win after Concordia-St. Paul took game one 9-0. It was the Dragons' first win over Concordia-St. Paul since April 10, 2016.

In game two, the Dragons' Ally Helgoe was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI while Samantha Gjerde was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Emma Dummer was 1-for-3 with a double an RBI and Shay Weber was 1-for-1 and scored twice. Jordie McNeilly was 1-for-2 and Elizabeth Johnson was 1-for-3.

Freshman Reece Dahl picked up her team-best fifth win of the season, firing a complete game. She allowed four earned runs, striking out three while walking three.

In game one, Weber and Jordey Smith both were 1-for-2 and Dummer and Johnson both were 1-for-3.
