ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Minnesota State Moorhead scored seven runs in the fifth to tie St. Cloud State, then scored five more in the seventh and earned a split with the Huskies in an NSIC doubleheader on Saturday.

The Dragons won 13-8 in Game 2 after falling 8-0 in the opener.

In the second game, Emma Dummer homered and doubled, driving in three runs and Miah Hartvigsen was 3-for-3, homered and drove in three runs. Elizabeth Johnson and Jordey Smith both had two hits and Samantha Gjerde singled and had two RBI. Anna Lang pitched 1-2/3 scoreless innings to get the win.

In the first game, SCSU's Trinity Junker three-hit the Dragons, walking one and striking out 10 in the five-inning game. Kaiya Sundeen had two of the Dragons' three hits.

The Dragons (7-20 NSIC, 9-32 overall) wrap the regular season with two games at Minnesota Duluth at noon and 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9.
