CLERMONT, Fla. — The Minnesota State Moorhead softball team fell to Alderson Broaddus 4-2 Monday morning, then again to Edinboro 5-3 later in the evening at the NTC Games.

Samantha Gjerde had a run and four hits in the first game against the Battlers to lead the Dragons. Emma Dummer added the other run and one hit. Anna Lang posted five walks.

Emma Dummer, Taylor Roddie and Ally Helgoe each scored against Edinboro and Becky Berth posted eight walks.

MSUM fell to 2-11 overall. The Dragons will spend two more days in Florida, with their next game at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday against Nyack College and Franklin Pierce.
