South Dakota topples UND women's basketball

VERMILLION, S.D. — The University of South Dakota women's basketball team cruised past the University of North Dakota 87-54 to close out the regular season Saturday in Summit League action at Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

Lexi Klabo led the Fighting Hawks with 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Jaclyn Jarnot added 10 points and three rebounds, while Julia Fleecs contributed nine points and six rebounds.

Allison Arens scored 18 points to pace the Coyotes (26-4, 14-2 Summit).


UND (11-18, 6-10) will play either Oral Roberts or Denver in the first round of the Summit League tournament Sunday, March 10.
