COON RAPIDS, Minn. - Fargo South graduate and Drake University senior Kane Hanson captured his second third-place finish of the week by shooting a final round 4-under 68 at the Minnesota State Open on Sunday at Bunker Hills Golf Club.
Hanson, who finished third at the Minnesota State Amateur on Wednesday, finished with a three-round total of 207, three shots behind champion Jered Gusso, a pro at The Wilds. Amateur Neil Johnson fired a final-round 62 to place second at 206.
