Ralph Engelstad Arena Director of Media Relations Chris Semrau said Friday that the venue will bill Fargo South High School for cleanup of an REA locker room that was left dirty after the Bruins' loss to the Roughriders during the semifinals of the North Dakota state boys hockey tournament.
Semrau would not say how much the bill is for, or what needed to be cleaned in the locker room.
South coach David Benson said Friday that a couple of players smeared peanut butter on the shower walls after the Bruins'
2-1 overtime loss to Red River in the state semifinals on Feb. 27.
Benson said he had his entire team clean up the mess when they returned the next morning to retrieve their equipment.

"A couple of kids made a little mistake," Benson said. "We cleaned up after ourselves. I think it's making a mountain out of a mole hill. ... We cleaned it up, and I thought it was taken care of."
Benson said his team cleaned up peanut butter marks from the shower walls, and that there was no locker room damage.
South athletic director Cory Lehman said he has not been in contact with REA officials. The school has not received a cleaning bill, Lehman said.
