MINNEAPOLIS - Moorhead opened up the baseball season Monday morning with a 2-1 win over St. Michael-Albertville at the Metrodome in the season opener for both teams.
Zach Schroeder was 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI and Drew Anderson was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI to lead Moorhead.
Michael Weismann picked up the win on the mound, pitching all seven innings, striking out five and giving up four hits.
