FARGO – The St. Cloud Chutes defeated Bismarck 5-0 during the American Legion Division I Central Plains Regional baseball tournament Saturday at Jack Williams Stadium.
The Chutes (27-4) plated its first run in the seventh inning when Jeff Fasching connected for a two-out, RBI double that scored Brady Yoerg.
St. Cloud plays Omaha Westside at 6 p.m. Sunday. It is a double-elimination tournament.
Bismarck (42-10) plays Omaha PI Midwest at 3 p.m. Sunday.
