ST. CLOUD, Minn. — St. Cloud Tech notched a 5-4 victory over the Moorhead Spuds on Tuesday evening in Minnesota boys lacrosse.
The Spuds struck first, in the opening half, when Kasyn Storbakken scored his first varsity goal. Kenny Bohney buried a goal early in the second half to put Moorhead up 2-1. The Tigers then scored three unanswered before Chris Stone scored for the Spuds to cut it to 4-3. Bohney added another with a minute left after SCT scored a fifth goal, but the Spuds comeback would fall just short.
Moorhead dropped to 3-5 overall.
